I thought Quidditch Through the Ages deserves leather binding. I've learned a lot in the process of making this book with the help of Dávid Petró, check out his blog: [link] More and bigger photos here: [link]
You don't even need a bookbinding class, I didn't take one either. It can be learned from the internet basically Although I'm fortunate that I had some professional help. By the way, I think paperbacks can be improved by making fancy protective book covers for them, so it looks nice on the shelf and it's also super easy. Something like this [link] or this [link]. You could even make fake headbans out of some kind of ribbon, like they do with mass produced books. Ok, now I'm just ranting. Thank you very much!
